Allah is the ally of those who believe. He brings them out from darknesses into the light. And those who disbelieve - their allies are Taghut. They take them out of the light into darknesses. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.
[Qur'aan 2:257]
The balaagha present in this Verse is in the fact that the word Al-Noor which means light (النور) is singular while the word darknesses (الظُّلُمَاتِ) is plural.
The reason for this is because Al-Noor represents the truth which is only one.
Darknesses represents misguidance which has many branches and forms.
Thus, Al-Noor is singular as is appropriate since the concept it alludes to is singular while darknesses is plural since the concept it alludes to has many branches and forms.

What is Al-Balaagha
Al-Balaagha (البلاغة) is one of the sciences of the Arabic language. It has been defined as
